Exploring Herbalism
Hi there! Thank you for being here.
My name is Liz, and Erly Remedies is my passion project.
I am fortunate to steward what was my grandparents' farm on Erly Road in Elliottsburg, PA. They taught me to live life with plants - because well, it made sense. Gathering from the land is how they grew up because it was a "free" way to find nourishment (free from money, but a rich investment in time and labors of love). Their gathering and growing was done through relationship; the land supported them and they supported the land.
Today I think we have lost touch with a lot of what is growing around us, and we take for granted how much support we are surrounded by. We can strengthen our own resilience, community, and health while supporting plant growth - it's all connected, ya know? We start by reminding ourselves what is at our fingertips.
My hope is to be able to encourage curiosity, offer supportive education, craft plant offerings, spread awareness, and build community.
Specifically, my aim is to help create a network for individuals in substance abuse recovery to work and build relationships with plants. *If this topic is important to you - please reach out! I would love to weave this web together.
